Cooking has always been my passion. Mixing and matching ingredients, working with different techniques. It’s true what they say, time flies when you are having fun. There is no greater sense of accomplishment and adventure than trying something new in the kitchen. And when I travel, I love to try all the street food available in each country, eat what the locals are eating and getting immersed in that country’s culture and flavours.
Cook In:Lab was born out of my love for experimenting in the kitchen – trying different recipes, creating a fusion of East & West, or experimenting with healthier versions of our favourite food. Afterall, Wolfgang Puck once said “Cooking is like painting or writing a song. Just as there are only so many notes or colors, there are only so many flavors – it’s how you combine them that sets you apart.”
I’ve always been cooking for friends and family and everyone kept asking me when I’m opening my own cafe. While that is still a dream for the future, Cook In: Lab is a bridge towards that dream, allowing me to bring my vision of healthy, good tasting food to more people, helping them celebrate, life, love & play.
